A Plus App

Often when a child gets sick and has to spend long periods of time at the hospital, they get behind in school and won't graduate on time. We designed A Plus to be an educational app used by students K-12 in order to stay tracks with their school. With the app, students also able to communicate with their teachers, classmates, and doctors.

the problem

Most schools do not offer resources for kids who are unable to physically attend class due to chronic illness or other problems. This results in many students dropping out due to missed assignments.

the solution

Our app is designed to help students grade K-12 to keep on track with their classes, assignments and attendance while unable to be present in class, enabling students to graduate on time.

This project was a collaboration along with Anna Long and Natalie Tarrant. It was featured in the DSVC's National Student Show & Conference 17/2021. It won best Interactive Design Mobile App: UX.
